About Mark Nickerson

I spent 30 years inside corporate life before I ever called myself a coach, including a director role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and leadership positions at Dell and GN Netcom. That work took me across global teams and through more reorgs, product cycles, and budget seasons than I care to count, so the pressure my clients describe is not theoretical to me. I hold an MBA from Rutgers University, though most of what I teach was earned leading real teams rather than sitting in a classroom. Today I coach frontline and mid-level managers in tech, finance, manufacturing, energy, and similar corporate environments, because that is the world I come from and I know it from the inside.

Over time, Mark noticed a pattern. The leaders who thrived weren’t the ones with the longest résumés. They were the ones who understood their voice, their values, and their purpose and used them to navigate complexity with clarity instead of panic.

That realization sparked the work he does today.

Originally from Ohio, Mark has lived and worked across Anchorage, Missoula, Austin, Chicago, Singapore, and now Tomball, Texas.
